The sites are nicely developed, as you can see here.

In spite of how it may appear here, they did not place the tables in a lake. It had just finished pouring and hailing when I took this photo.

We found this campground after we set up in Carson Canyon Campground. Actually, we toured all the campgrounds just to see where we wanted to stay the next time we are up in Red River. This campground has some excellent looking tent sights and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. It was very clean and in a beautiful setting.

Just returned from a wonderful 4th of July weekend 2008 with my wife. The campgrounds were very well maintained, very clean. We were impressed beyond belief. The restrooms were kept very clean and stocked with tissue. The river was just down the hill and could be heard very well, nice and tranquil. We had sight #5 and it is pretty secluded from most of the others. It was at the top of the hill with one other site that is across the road and around the turn just a little. The parking spot was small but enough for any type vehicle just not a camper. The site has a very large tent area that is smoothed out pretty well. We had a 10 man measuring 16' x 14'. Fire pits are nice with a folding grill for cooking on the fire if you choose to do that. Red River is about 4 mile east of the campgrounds and very nice. Questa is about 10 miles west and at the stop light there is a fitness center that for $3.00 you can purchase a day pass to use the facilities which includes showers as well. Sight #4 looked pretty big for tent use also, but it was closer to some of the other sites. Overall an AAA+++ experience. Thanks to the camp host for a well maintained enjoyable weekend.
