Car camping list
Things that need to be packed every time we go camping. We pack
from this list, but each camping trip is different, so we do not
take all of this every time we camp. Your needs are likely to be
different from ours, but you can use this as a starting point.
- Weather forecasts for the area
- Water containers (small for hiking and large for general use and
refilling the small containers); we use around one gallon per person per
day when car camping (for tea, cooking, cleaning, etc) plus hiking water.
